At the Chickasha vision center we can take care of all of your eyelid surgery needs. We can treat droopy lids (Blepharoplasty), we can treat lids that roll in (entropion) and lids that roll out (ectropion). We can do lid surgery that is medically necessary and covered by insurance as well as lid surgery for cosmetic. When you come in the office for your evaluation, our team can determine if the condition you have may be covered by your insurance provider.
We may need to run some tests including a visual field test to help us determine if there might be coverage. There are standards that insurance carriers use for loss of visual field (peripheral vision). If those standards are not met, then lid surgery may be considered cosmetic.
Cosmetic Lid Surgery
Cosmetic lid surgery is also available. Dr. Belardo really enjoys speaking with patients to determine their needs and discuss cosmetic options for them.
