Cataracts

We know how frustrating it can be to live with blurry and clouded vision caused by cataracts. At Chickasha Vision Centre, our team of eye care professionals are highly trained to treat cataracts through a gentle process designed to remove protein buildup in the eye. We invite you to book an assessment with our team to see if you’re a candidate.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a serious eye condition that causes pressure buildup in your eyes, resulting in symptoms such as pain, nausea, and even vision loss from nerve damage. Regular examinations are necessary to ensure that the condition is caught before irreversible damage is caused. Multiple treatment options are available depending on the patient’s case and medical history. To learn more, connect with our team of eyecare specialists at Chickasha Vision Centre.

Laser Vision Correction

If you are between 18 and about 50 years old and are near sighted, far sighted, or have astigmatism laser vision correction may be right for you! Laser vision correction can change the shape of the cornea to allow patients to have excellent vision after surgery. Laser vision correction surgery is an in office procedure that usually takes about 20 minutes. Patients usually notice a difference within the first few hours after surgery and then full healing for LASIK is about a week, for PRK, usually about 6 weeks.

After surgery, the patient returns to Chickasha Vision Center for a post op the day after surgery and then we usually see patients at about one week after surgery and then one month after surgery. At the Chickasha Vision Center, we specialize in the pre and post op care before and after laser vision correction. We have all of the testing technology to determine if a patient is a candidate for laser vision correction. Dr. John Belardo is our LASIK surgeon and Dr. George Goodman can perform PRK. The surgeries are performed in Oklahoma City but our patients only have to be in Oklahoma City for surgery day.

We would love to see you. Book an appointment today.
